The Opportunity
Lesley University is seeking a part-time Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach. The Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach is responsible for assisting with the management of the program including practice planning, recruitment, player development, and implementing competition strategy. The Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach will be responsible supporting all aspects associated with the NCAA Division III Women’s Soccer program at Lesley University. They will help lead the Women’s Soccer team according to NCAA, North Atlantic Conference and Lesley University standards, rules, and regulations. They will demonstrate awareness of, commitment, and adherence to NCAA and Conference rules to help instruct and develop student-athletes; develop and implement a comprehensive recruiting strategy; make strategic decisions in contest situations; and assistant with administrative responsibilities associated with the program operations, including fundraising efforts and community service. The Assistant Coach will help oversee the traditional season and recruiting efforts.
Qualities and Capabilities
A successful candidate will have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (required)
  • Previous successful collegiate coaching experience or experience competing at the college, semi-professional, professional, or international level (required)
  • Knowledge and solid understanding of NCAA Division III rules and regulations
  • Must have a valid U.S. driver's license or be able to commute to practice/competitions
  • Requires night and weekend hours and potential overnight travel, including availability to participate in admissions Open Houses, Accepted Students Day and other new student events
