Marine Supply System (MSS) is a company within the Wilhelmsen group that offers logistics and business enablement services to companies operating in the maritime industry. Some of the key elements in the service offering include our uniquely designed supply chain, our global network of warehouses and experts, and our processes and systems developed to support a truly global operating model in maritime.

What you will do
You will be responsible for sales leadership, from lead generation to launch of service, and for customer relationship management. In close collaboration with key stakeholders, you will secure solutions that create sustainable customer value. We will expect you to put your expertise to work to continuously develop the MSS value proposition, business model, and commercial offering. While doing so, you will relentlessly explore new ways to leverage Wilhelmsen’s exceptional setup to make the MSS offering stand out in the market.
The Business Development Director will report to MSS Chief Executive Officer.
What We believe you need to succeed:
- Significant experience from business development and sales leadership in a global environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships
- Experience from operations, preferably 3PL and logistics services
- Fluency in English
- A master’s degree in business, engineering, logistics or related
