Business Development Representative (Onsite)
Job Description
- Industry Research & Contact Building:
- Use the iLink platform to research and build contact lists by industry (Transport, Freight and Logistics, Bus and Coach, Civil Construction, Rental and Hire, Utilities and Infrastructure, Mobile Workforce and Trades, etc.).
- Lead Generation & Sales Closing:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling and appointment setting.
- Manage and close sales for smaller deals (0–10 vehicles), ensuring a seamless transition from lead generation to sale closure.
- Cold Calling & Appointment Setting:
- Set qualified appointments for the Sales Unit Manager for prospects with 10+ vehicles and independently manage smaller pipelines.
- After-Sales Support:
- Provide after-sales support by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Guide customers through onboarding and maintain regular communication to build loyalty.
- Brochure Distribution:
- Send out brochures and product information to potential clients.
- Qualification:
- Qualify customer requirements and match them with appropriate products and services.
- Customer Engagement:
- Maintain and build relationships with customers through regular retention calls and develop a consistent call cycle.
- Sales Forecasting & Pipeline Management:
- Track and manage sales activity and pipeline, ensuring accurate sales forecasting.
- Quote and Tender Writing:
- Prepare and submit quotes and tenders.
- Meetings & Notes:
- Attend online meetings as required and document key notes and actions.
- Performance Tracking:

Plan and track sales activity, setting goals and measuring performance against KPIs using the iLink platform.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or any related field.
- With 2-5 years of experience in Sales.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software.
- Deep understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to work on-site.
