The role
We are now looking for a Corporate Communications Manager for Norway based at our Norwegian office at Lysaker. You will be part of our Nordic Corporate Affairs & Consumer Communications Team and report to Nordic Head of Corporate Affairs & Communications. The Nordic team consists of about 20 professionals working with Corporate Affairs (public affairs, corporate communications, sustainability) and Consumer & Marketing Excellence.
You will be a part of the Norwegian management team, working closely both with the commercial organization in Norway, your Nordic team mates as well as with the Nordic marketing teams. As a part of a global company, you will also have many contact points at our HQ in Switzerland and our Zone Europe Team in Brussels.
Your responsibilities
Your objective is to raise awareness and strengthen Nestlé’s reputation in Norway and own our dialogue and engagement with partners, decision makers and other stakeholders. Nestlé is strongly committed to being a force for good in society, with ambitious sustainability commitments and actions. You will be responsible for communicating and driving our global agenda towards consumers, customers, and other stakeholders in a localized way. You will:
- Proactively develop and implement effective Public Affairs and Communications strategies, in close cooperation with the Nordic Corporate Affairs Team and the Norwegian Country Manager

Cultivate and maintain strong media relationships. Be an external spokesperson and representative for Nestlé in Norway towards NGO’s, customers, and other stakeholders

Actively create content and engage in dialogue in our Corporate Social Media channels in collaboration with our Nordic team

Work with our marketing departments and customer managers to generate and implement new ideas and strategies.

Work closely together with the Country Manager and management team on reputation, internal & external communication.

Be Nestlé’s representative in industry associations, liaise and be a spokesperson between Nestlé and government entities

Your profile
You are a person who wants to make a difference and has a strong interest in challenges that are linked to public health, our society, and the climate. You are a great networker and communicator who wants to engage and collaborate with others. You have strong written and oral communications skills, both in Norwegian and English.
You are self-driven and like to work both independently and as a part of a team. You have a strong ability to build relationships and can quickly familiarize yourself with new, complex topics and create engaging content in a way that makes it easy to understand.
Your experiences and qualifications
You have a university degree in communication or other relevant field of study and have worked full time with communication for at least five years. In-depth knowledge of the Norwegian media landscape and broad experience of social media is also important. Experience from journalism and/or the food industry is valuable.
