We are currently seeking:

Digital Summer Intern

In order to support our vision to be Best on Water, BW LNG is looking for a highly motivated summer intern to work with our various in-house teams on digital initiatives. Actual tasks will depend on qualifications and departmental needs at the time.

This is your opportunity to get hands-on experience in one of the world’s leading maritime organisations.

Potential responsibilities:

Align and simplify processes through implementation of digital solutions both on shore and onboard our vessels
Support business users on data analytics and in turning our IoT-data into actionable insight, for instance through use of Power BI and Python
Conduct data analyses on technical and operational data
Explore potential use cases of AI and emerging technologies

Qualifications:

Undergoing a MSc degree in Engineering (e.g., Marine Technology, Computer Science, Industrial Economics, Physics and Mathematics) with relevant studies covering information technology, informatics, cybernetics or equivalent
Current 3rd and 4th year students are preferred
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Programming skills an advantage
General interest in marine technology may be an advantage

Creative mindset with the ability to look for new solutions and way of doing things
Thrive on working closely with the business side and focus on generating value to our customers
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with cultural awareness
Strong analytical mindset
