Division Security Responsible (DSR)

Kongsberg Maritime has ambitions to grow significantly in the maritime defence segment. For many years, Konsberg Maritime has successfully sold and supplied products such as propulsion systems and stabilizers to navies and coast guards all over the world. Our business in the maritime defence market is expected to grow further by offering more of our products, solutions and services to this market. The most important growth is expected to come through expansion in automation and control, energy and digital services such as maritime simulators.

As part of this initiative, we are looking for a Division Security Responsible (DSR) for Naval Systems. The position will be organized in the newly established Naval Systems business unit as part of the Propulsion and Handling division.

We are looking for someone who is structured, accurate and with good relational skills, and who has a desire to develop security work in one of Norway's most advanced technology companies! As Divisional Security Manager in Naval Systems, you will have a central role in security management, personnel safety, physical security, information systems and project security. We are looking for a confident and energetic person who can strengthen and further develop our security work in an environment where precision and reliability are crucial.

We envision that you will work with the following

Training, guidance, advice and assessments to the organization and projects on security issues and contribute to a strong safety culture
Administrative follow-up such as practical handling of applications for security clearances, authorisation interviews, case processing and coordination with other security organisations both in Norway and abroad
Development and follow-up of information systems
Contribute and participate in other tasks in preventive safety

We are looking for you who have

Relevant education from a college or university
Relevant experience and interest in working with security
Good knowledge of the Security Act with associated regulations and guidelines
Are structured, detail-oriented, enterprising and result-oriented with a critical sense and the ability to see the big picture in your advice
Likes to work with people and communicates clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Good written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian and English

This employment requires security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority. The successful candidate may start work with limited accesses whilst the clearance is being processed. Please note that this might affect the offer process or employment.
