Lead Glamox in turning data into insight, and insight into impact.
At Glamox, we’re on a journey to become a more data-driven and insight-led organisation – and we’re now looking for a Head of Data & Analytics to help lead the way.
In this role, you will be responsible for setting and executing our data and analytics strategy, ensuring that data becomes a true enabler for business innovation and operational improvement. From optimising logistics and production processes to supporting strategic decision-making in finance, you will work across the organisation to identify high-impact use cases and help us unlock the value of our data.
You will lead a skilled and motivated team working across data engineering, reporting and analytics, and serve as a trusted advisor to key business stakeholders. The foundation is in place – a modern cloud-based data platform, solid reporting capabilities, and a strong appetite for using data in new and better ways. Now we’re looking for someone who can take us further.
Responsibilities
- Define a clear data and analytics strategy that supports Glamox’s overall business goals and maximises the value potential of our OneGlamox platform
- Establish and maintain policies and best practices for data governance, including data quality, standardisation and responsible use across the organisation
- Own and continuously improve all solutions related to data and analytics, ensuring they are scalable, secure and business-relevant
- Lead the data and analytics team with a focus on both operational delivery and long-term development – including coaching, mentoring and inspiring team members
- Identify and drive innovative ways of using data to improve business outcomes – including the exploration of new technologies, use cases and advanced analytics
- Work closely with product teams to explore the potential of IoT data collected from connected light and sensor installations – both for internal use and to shape future data-driven product offerings
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering or data science roles
- Experience with Microsoft Azure analytics stack and Databricks is a strong plus
- Proven track record in leading projects or teams and strategic leadership
- Hands-on experience with both technical implementation and driving business value through data
- Solid understanding of domains such as production, logistics or operations, and experience working with data from these areas to support analysis and decision-making
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively across technical and business audiences
Personal Attributes
- Strategic and hands-on – able to shape the direction while contributing directly
- Curious and forward-thinking, with a passion for using data to improve business outcomes
- Strong communicator who can bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Collaborative and open-minded, with the ability to coach and inspire others
- Comfortable in dynamic, agile environments with shifting priorities and high ambitions
