About the role
In this role, you will be part of HR Operations and report to the HR Manager in Finland. You will be located at the Oslo office, most of your working time but with some flexibility to work from home when needed. This position is with 80% of working time, either 4 days a week or 6,5 hours/day on 5 days.
As an HR Generalist at Essity, you will work close to the business delivering support and coaching to managers in a diverse range of tasks within the whole HR area. You will provide professional HR support in all operational/ administrative HR issues related to agreed activities. These may include various or single aspects of recruitment, training, organization development, data collection and employee relations programs.
In this role, you will ensure that activities are carried out according to agreed HR processes and policies and are compliant with legal requirements. You also act as speaking partner for managers and other stakeholders, providing expert assistance and guidance for assigned activities.
You will propose local adaptation to harmonize and/or improve process delivery and contribute to overall HR process delivery with input or as process member. In this role you will also apply and maintain relevant tools and systems and contributes to a service culture to fulfill the service level agreement. You will work collaboratively with the Centre of Excellences in the Nordic HR community, and experience in this will be an advantage.

You have:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an operational HR role.
Experience working with local labor law and regulations.
Data savviness and an interest in people analytics to make fact-based decisions.
Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken, is a must.
Experience from working in an international company is beneficial.
