ROEST, a leading Norwegian tech scale-up, is seeking a Procurement & Finance Manager to drive our next phase of growth. Over the past 10+ years, we have built an international success story by redefining coffee roasting using sensor technology and are serving leading coffee customers in over 80 countries. Now, we’re looking for a Procurement & Finance Manager to join our small but ambitious team.
About the Role
This is a key position in our team, with a primary focus on procurement and supply chain, managing our suppliers in Europe and Asia (mainly China). You will also take on financial responsibilities depending on your qualifications. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a multi-hat environment, takes ownership, and is excited to help us scale.
Key responsibilities
Procurement & supply chain:
Manage purchasing from our key suppliers in Europe and Asia
Handle cost negotiations and supplier relationship management
Oversee shipments and inbound logistics (no warehouse responsibilities)
Set up and optimize procurement and supply chain systems
Track supplier performance, lead times, and material flow
Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve delivery reliability
Finance & accounting (secondary / based on qualifications):
Support or take ownership of accounting tasks, from bookkeeping to reporting
Collaborate with management on financial planning and analysis
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and invoice tracking
Liaise with external accountants and auditors as needed
Who you are
Solid experience in procurement, preferably in hardware, electronics, or manufacturing
Strong negotiation skills and confidence working across cultures and time zones
Structured and proactive, with a drive to build and improve systems
Good understanding of supply chain dynamics, especially international shipping
Experience or education in accounting or finance is a strong plus
Excellent communication skills in English (Norwegian is a plus)
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, at least 1 years of experience working in a similar role.
A master's degree in business, supply chain, accounting or a related field is preferred.
Oslo-based: the role is based in Oslo, Norway.
