In Financial & Risk Value Chain (FRVC) we serve some of the most important core banking value chains in DNB, operationalizing advanced analytics at a large scale, contributing directly to DNB’s financial results and contribute to DNBs operational risk management. DNB is moving in a fast and have established a Data Management Strategy which moves us gradually into Data Mesh with a combination decentralized and centralized data products. Passion for data and technology is important in this role since we are developing new solutions for operational risk and establishment of our data product. You will be a vital person in DNB’s operational risk development and will be contribute to development, operations, prioritization and roadmap and blueprint discussions.
About the team:
Currently the team consists of developers and a strong ownership from the business side. The team is continuously developing solutions for monitoring and maintaining an overview of DNB’s credit risk. Our goal is to build modern and robust solutions in close collaboration with business users, we see that the best solutions are the once we develop together with business.
We’re looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Data Engineer to play a key role in modernizing our risk and financial data value chain. In this role, you’ll help migrate critical data processes from legacy platforms to modern cloud-based solutions, and develop data products that are essential for risk management and financial reporting, real-time credit scoring and batch scoring.
You’ll work closely with both technology and business teams, and be involved in the full journey—from strategy and architecture to implementation and continuous improvement. Your work will directly impact how we manage data across the organization and enable smarter, faster decision-making.
We’re looking for someone with solid experience in data engineering, ideally with a background in Teradata, creating and maintaining complex data pipelines. You’re also comfortable working with modern tools like Snowflake, dbt, Airflow and database DevOps tools, and have experience with data observability and lineage tools. You understand the importance of building scalable, maintainable solutions and enjoy working at the intersection of data, technology, and business.
