Are you an experienced leader with a strong background in oilfield equipment and rotating machinery services? Sulzer Pumps Norway AS is seeking a Service Centre Manager to lead our Stavanger Service Centre team. This is a pivotal role in the repair, refurbishment, and performance enhancement of all types of rotating equipment—regardless of the original equipment manufacturer—with a particular focus on high-energy pumps used in demanding offshore and oilfield environments.
About the Role
As Service Centre Manager, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, strategic growth, and sustained profitability, while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will lead a skilled team delivering tailored engineering solutions, 24/7 emergency response, on-site overhauls, installation, commissioning, diagnostics, and offshore maintenance for critical rotating equipment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and promote a positive health and safety culture across all operations.

Deliver target Return on Sales alongside outstanding customer satisfaction and safety performance.

Develop and future-proof the Service Centre organisation by maximising capabilities and managing talent effectively.

Drive business growth plans, realising new market and product opportunities while managing associated risks.

Ensure strong commercial management and risk mitigation across the business.

Build and lead a high-performing management team to maintain consistent operational standards.

Monitor and report operational performance using key metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Collaborate with Sales and Commercial teams to align resources and operational capabilities with customer requirements.

Implement and uphold compliance systems and procedures to meet operational standards.

Promote operational excellence and support initiatives focused on safety, environmental protection, and continuous improvement.

Foster clear communication of strategy and results within the regional operations.
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Knowledge:
-
Proven leadership experience managing people and operational teams in an oilfield equipment or rotating machinery services environment.

Demonstrated success in business/P&L management within aftermarket or service operations.

Strong background in business growth, transformation, and continuous improvement (LEAN/CI desirable).

Solid knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation and best practices.

Experience delivering offshore maintenance, repair, and upgrade projects, ideally with high-energy pumps.
Qualifications:

Relevant technical or engineering qualification essential.

NEBOSH certification is desirable but not mandatory.
