POSITION SUMMARY
Join the Center Management Team to help create a vibrant meeting place at one of Norway’s most exciting shopping centers.
Metro is a central meeting point in Lørenskog, with around 90 stores and 5 million visitors annually. We are now looking for an engaged and structured Center Coordinator to join our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your perimeter of responsibilities will include:
- Updating, administrating, and optimizing all digital platforms and customer clubs.
- Being present on-site to coordinate information and requests, providing professional service to tenants and customers.
- Monitoring and compiling reports on key performance indicators, including sales, footfall, and customer feedback.
- Supporting daily operational tasks and the follow-up of common areas to ensure the center appears safe, tidy, and inviting.
- Coordinating activities, campaigns, and marketing initiatives, including publishing content on our social media channels.
- Assisting in planning and executing marketing activities and events in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
- Daily interaction with tenants, providing training on various platforms and systems.
- Monthly reporting of sales and visitor figures from tenants.
- Administrative support related to the center’s gift card sales.
- Simple tasks in SAP.
- Registering various lists and preparing documentation for invoicing.
- Following up on operations, cleaning, and security teams.
- Updating lists, fire safety documentation, and similar operational documentation.
- Handling customer inquiries professionally.
- Ensuring compliance with company guidelines, practices, and local labor laws.
- Supporting the development of turnover, footfall growth, and adherence to budgets.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
You preferably have a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, or a related field; relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
You have:
- High knowledge and active use of social media platforms.
- Strong understanding of events and marketing communications.
- Preferably experience from retail, events, or branding environments.
- Good commercial and financial understanding.
- Experience with SAP is an advantage.
In particular:
- A service-minded attitude with an energetic, positive, and proactive approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
- Outgoing, social, and a good team contributor, while also working well independently in a structured and goal-oriented manner.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Good administrative and facilitation skills.
