Our segment also supports digital innovation through ventures such as RaaLabs, which specializes in maritime data analytics, and Massterly, focused on remote and autonomous shipping. We are looking for a fourth member to join our investment team in New Energy. You will join a team with in-depth, market leading maritime, finance and consulting experiences. Your role will focus on developing our existing portfolio as well as new investment opportunities, working with the energy value chain, including oil & gas and renewable energy as well as the broader maritime industry and autonomy.
The role will involve exposure to the group management team, management teams in our portfolio companies and board of directors, as well as external partners and investment opportunities.
What you will be doing:
- Actively participate in developing the New Energy segment
- Contribute to develop and revisit the New Energy and group strategy
- Proactively identify new investment opportunities and potential initiatives
- Participate in M&A processes, including investment assessment and execution, due diligence, financing, and exits/capitalization of businesses
- Create valuation and financial modeling
- Monitor the competitive landscape and relevant developments across the energy space
- Support our portfolio companies in strategic initiatives and with realizing our value creation plans
- Represent Wilhelmsen on internal and external boards

What we are looking for:
If you have relevant formal education and two to five years of relevant work experience, preferably from management consulting, transaction services, investment banking, or a similar position, you might be the one we are looking for. You should be proactive and have proven analytical skills, a global and independent mindset, and excellent communication skills (English, verbal and written). Most importantly, you should be able to influence and motivate internal and external stakeholders.
