As Vessel Manager, you will be a key operational link between ship and shore. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate with crews to ensure safety and efficiency, and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards.
You'll engage directly with crews, technical partners, and customers, while leading strategic management initiatives focused on optimizing operational efficiency and reducing environmental impact to support sustainable fleet performance.
Main Responsibilities
Support vessels in day to day operations
Monitoring Vessel perfomance, including digital monitoring and physical vessel inspections.
Overview and support of vessel maintenance
Planning and follow-up of dry-dockings
Control and follow-up of all vessel certification
Correspondace with class and authoreties
Participating and contributing in projects
Budgeting and reporting vessel operational expences
Supervise and followup vessel purchasing
Reporting of vessel operational KPI's
Participate and support charterer needs
Key qualifications we are looking for:
Experience from similar positions in ship management
Maritime education as deck or engine officer, preferably with seagoing experience from the offshore industry.
Conversant with industry rules, regulations and customer expectations.
Excellent communication skills in English, preferably also a Scandinavian language
IT proficient with experience with planned maintenance and procurement systems.
