As the Warehouse & Yard Supervisor, you will ensure a safe and reliable operational environment. In this role, you will execute standard processes and procedures for warehouse and yard activities. You will be responsible for receiving, storage, yard management, preservation, physical inventory verification, accuracy and the delivery of inventory to internal and external customers.
As Warehouse & Yard Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Complying with HSE and Quality policies and actively participating in relevant programs to ensure safety
- Liaising with relevant teams as required to ensure on time delivery and shipments
- Reviewing warehouse and yard throughput and efficiency through identifying opportunities, investigating, developing and executing action plans
- Optimizing workflow and delivering as outlined in local service level agreement to ensure flawless execution
- Managing physical inventory and asset verification and ensuring properly trained personnel are in place to perform tasks
- Fostering a positive, respectful and inclusive work environment and providing coaching to team in areas of competence

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have an Apprenticeship with relevant warehousing / logistics experience
- Have proven people leader skills
- Be proficient in SAP and Excel
- Have experience with 6S and Lean – Execute 6S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain and Safety)
- Have problem-solving, analytical, communication, leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
