We’re seeking motivated individuals – whether you're early in your career or an experienced sales professional – to help us bring innovative solutions to healthcare professionals and patients across Oslo, Akershus, and Nordland. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
As an Account Manager (AM) you will lead on local account planning across priority GP and hospital accounts. You will use account and customer insight to develop and execute a local account strategy which maximizes business potential. It will be essential for you to work closely with the cross-functional teams to gain access to customers using innovative educational programs and other p2p concepts. You will support key target customers and help with our purpose of making life better for patients with obesity and diabetes.
- Define, prepare, and implement a territory business plan from launch, based on a clear understanding of customer priorities. The AM will lead the development of a cross-functional and focused business plan, working with the Regional Business Manager, Marketing and ML colleagues.
- Achieve/Exceed sales & new patient start targets through a mixture of focused customer interactions – including face to face calls, meetings & digital tactics.
- Support HCPs by continuing to develop / grow their key capabilities in line with the Lilly strategy for building lasting customer relationships.
- Demonstrates a clear and thorough understanding of the disease state(s) and its impact on customers and patients including the full range of treatment options available including a detailed knowledge of both Lilly`s and competitor products.
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of all promoted Lilly`s approved clinical studies and the skill to engage customers (prescribers, support staff etc.) with fair balance on proper placement within the treatment continuum.
- Excellent partnership with local Marketing, ML, and key Head Office colleagues to ensure good teamwork and support of the customer base, leading to optimum business achievement.
- Demonstration of high integrity & compliance at all times
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree required
- Experience within Diabetes and Obesity
- Previous experience working with GPs and Hospitals
- Proven track record in identifying and converting business opportunities into growth in the selected geographical area
- Demonstrated in-call selling skills using VBS (Value-Based Selling)
- Key account management and business planning
- Ability to sell a broad portfolio of products across a variety of disease indications
- Ability and willingness to work in an environment that uses individual sales & productivity metrics
- Driving license
- Exposure to roles within pharmaceutical, healthcare, sales, or consulting is beneficial
