We are looking for a Junior Business Controller to join our Business Insight and Controlling team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, systems, and structured analysis to support decision-making in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
You will contribute both through your own initiatives and by maintaining and developing existing reporting frameworks. The role will report to the Senior Business Controller and work closely alongside them in day-to-day tasks and initiatives, while also collaborating with business unit management and other departments.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data structures and analysis frameworks that reduce time from data to insight
- Drive your own initiatives within relevant analysis and reporting areas to support business decision-making
- Contribute to monthly and quarterly reporting processes
- Further develop and optimize existing reports, tools, and support the rollout of best practices
- Handle other ad hoc tasks and projects
Key Qualifications
- Experience from consulting, advisory services, or business controlling
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 1-3 year of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Excel, including Power Query and other smart data handling features; ability to create maintainable and scalable frameworks
- Experience with Power BI and ERP/data warehouse systems is an advantage

You are independent and proactive yet understand the value of collaboration and teamwork. You communicate financial insights clearly—even to non-financial stakeholders—and thrive in the intersection of finance, operations, and technology. Proficiency in both English and Norwegian, written and spoken, is required.
