About the role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Underwriter to own the underwriting activities and manage the P/L of our insurance portfolio. You'll be responsible for developing robust pricing models, establishing clear underwriting guidelines, and defining precise policy wordings. You will regularly present business cases to internal and external stakeholders, monitor portfolio performance closely, and collaborate with our cross-functional team to enhance both financial outcomes and customer experiences.
You'll tackle diverse and interesting underwriting challenges across various industries and Nordic markets, developing tailored insurance products for sharing economy platforms, warranties, product insurances, and add-on protections. Your ability to make informed, data-driven decisions, even when facing incomplete data, will be essential.

Our compact, cross-functional team of seven in Stockholm and Oslo is expanding, adding your role and a Business Developer in Oslo to strengthen our underwriting and product management capabilities.

Who are you?
We're looking for someone who combines strong analytical skills and commercial insight with solid risk judgment. You make informed, timely underwriting decisions based on data-driven analysis, even when faced with uncertainty. You communicate your analytical insights clearly, effectively engaging both internal stakeholders and external partners. You thrive with autonomy in a supportive, cross-functional team, driven by achieving measurable results. Most importantly, you're excited to shape your role and continuously expand your expertise.
You also have:
At least 3–5 years of experience in P&C underwriting or pricing
Master’s degree in actuarial science, statistics, engineering, or similar
Knowledge of relevant tools (e.g. SQL, Databricks/Python, PowerBI, Tableau, Excel)
Professional fluency in English and one Nordic language (Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish).
