Job Description
We are looking for a seasoned MS Dynamics365 Project Lead to oversee the implementations of Sales/Commercial platforms (mainly for CPG and Pharma companies), based on MS D365 technologies across Sales, Service, Marketing, Commerce, PowerApps Development, Power Automate, Sales Analytics, Integration, and Data Migration teams. In this role, you will take the lead as both a strategic driver and delivery owner, guiding a high-impact IT transformation for world-known industry leaders while ensuring alignment with business goals, budgets, and timelines.
The position’s starting point is a significant CRM transformation project for a global beverage manufacturing and distribution client, managing complex process harmonization across multiple business units and regions. You will cooperate with cross-functional teams to drive successful adoption and seamless integration of the new systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field;
- 5+ years of experience in IT delivery management;
- 5+ years of MS D365 functional consulting background;
- Good understanding of standard functional capabilities of MS D365 CE (CRM) and its integration with other core enterprise systems - Commerce, ERPs (F&O, BC and others like SAP), Enterprise Analytics, Planning, MS Office components (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive);
- At least a high-level understanding of Dataverse, Power Platform, PowerApps development (both Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, and security concepts;
- Good understanding of implementation/delivery methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, Microsoft Dynamics365 Success by Design (or previous MS Sure Step), and proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Trello);
- Experience in implementing/building a commercial platform for the company from scratch, starting from high-level discovery, then detailed fit-gap analysis of customer’s business processes, toward standard platform capabilities, till actual system implementation/configuration/customization, data migration, SIT/UAT/Go-Live and hypercare support;
- Understanding of CPG/Pharma producers’ specifics in sales/service processes in Modern and Traditional Trade (Sales Representatives, Pricing, Trade Promotion Management, Orders Management, EDI, eCommerce, Contact Centers, Claims, O2C execution, etc.);
- Proven ability to work effectively in global environment, demonstrating excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills;
- Experience managing budgets, resources, risks, and stakeholder expectations for complex IT projects;
- Experience contributing to presale, including proposals, project estimations, and client engagement;
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously;
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, preferably as a Consultant or Business Analyst;
- Strong soft skills, including adaptability, emotional intelligence, and conflict resolution capabilities.
Nice to have:
- MS D365 and Power Platform certifications;
- Project Management Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) are a plus;
- Experience with other CRM and ERP platforms (Salesforce, SAP, JDE, NetSuite, D365 BC/F&O, Infor, etc.;
- Experience with Enterprise Analytics and AI based on Azure/DataFabric/Databricks/PowerBI/Copilot.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the delivery of complex IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets;
- Cooperate with global teams, stakeholders, and senior management to define project scope, deliverables, and success criteria;
- Ensure adherence to delivery best practices, quality standards, and compliance with organizational and technical requirements;
- Establish and maintain project governance, including regular reporting on project progress, risks, and performance metrics to stakeholders;
- Act as a mentor and escalation point for project teams, facilitating cooperation and resolving conflicts to maintain project momentum;
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful resolution of issues impacting timelines or quality;
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery processes and team efficiency;
- Create a welcoming environment for teams with different backgrounds and use their varied viewpoints to help the project succeed.
- Identify revenue generation opportunities within ongoing projects by suggesting enhancements, upselling services, or proposing additional solutions aligned with client needs;
- Partner with sales teams during pre-sales activities, contributing to solution proposals, project estimations, and client presentations.
