At Vipps MobilePay, we simplify life for millions of people across the Nordics, and keeping those services secure is at the heart of making that happen.
As a Security Engineer in our Security Operations team, you will work across a broad spectrum of initiatives, from automating identity and access management (IAM) to securing endpoints, integrating new security technologies, and improving how we handle incidents. Our mission is to remove blockers and enable speed while keeping security strong.
This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in real operational security work for one of the most loved financial services brands in the Nordics. Whether you are an eager new talent or an experienced security professional, if you enjoy rolling up your sleeves and work with real operational security work, we would like to hear from you.
💡 What you will be doing
You will be part of the Security Operations team, working closely with colleagues across the company to protect our users, products, and infrastructure. We aim to simplify, standardise, and innovate in security so teams can move fast, stay compliant, and protect customer trust.
Some recent examples of our work include:
- Enrolling all company mobile devices in our endpoint security setup to enable proper monitoring, incident handling, and stronger conditional access policies.
- Integrating BloodHound with our Azure Entra ID environment to identify attack paths and potential security vulnerabilities.
- Automating the onboarding of new applications into our single sign-on (SSO) setup to streamline secure access across the company.
- Implementing automated setup of Azure and Entra resources for new products, including access packages and subscriptions.
🧠 Who we are looking for
We believe great security engineers are developed through experience, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. You do not need to match every requirement, but you should be eager to explore, proactive in finding solutions, and comfortable working with both people and technology.
You might be a great fit if you have:
- Hands-on technical experience in systems integration or software engineering of identity and access management (IAM) solutions.
- Experience with at least one relevant programming language such as Python, PowerShell, C#, Java, or Go.
- Familiarity with information security concepts such as authentication and access control.
- Experience working with cloud solutions, preferably Azure.
- Experience with automated setup of Azure and Entra resources for example when launching new products.
- Experience implementing SSO for applications.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or Bicep.
- Understanding of modern DevOps practices and methodologies.
