We are looking for a new Category Manager Software & IT.

In this new role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and management of this category with focus on optimizing spend, ensure quality & compliance, and drive operational excellence.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Support with strategic and operational development of the Indirect Spend category, with focus on Software and IT
- Optimize the Corporate IT portfolio by standardizing and improving both existing and new software and hardware assets
- Act as Asset Owner for selected corporate and global software, ensuring effective access, licensing, user administration, and lifecycle management
- Drive cost efficiency through competition, negotiation, market analysis, and benchmarking for software and hardware

Maximize software utilization by ensuring each asset delivers continuous business value and contributes to annual performance
- Lead performance & business reviews to ensure alignment with category goals, supplier accountability, and continuous improvement
- Proactively support the business ensuring compliance to internal and external processes & procedures
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant economic or technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- Documented experience in sourcing and procurement, beneficial with a strong track record in category management
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, manage high workloads, and drive strategic decisions with confidence
- Proven experience navigating organizational dynamics and collaborating across departments to achieve shared goals
- Hands-on experience in developing and executing sourcing strategies and category plans
