We are looking for a highly motivated, organized and service minded person to join the Customer Support Team in Arendal, Norway. As a member of the team you will work with colleagues and customers around the world. Your main responsibility will be to handle Marine non-lead claims and together with the team deliver high quality service to Gard’s claims handlers and external customers as part of Gard’s marine insurance activities worldwide. You will be a key member of a vibrant and international team where your primary focus will be:
Process and handle Marine non-lead Claims
Claims payments and related transactions
A continuous focus on improving our services and practices
Responding to customer queries
Other claims related tasks
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar and/or relevant experience
General accounting knowledge
A structured approach to work, with strong attention to details
Can work under pressure, is proactive and self-driven
Is ICT literate with a digital mindset and quick to learn systems and procedures
Keen to build cross-functional competence and highly motivated to learn as well as share knowledge.
Self-motivated and a team player with an improvement mindset
Has strong communication skills and cultural awareness
A good command of spoken and written English is required
