Join the inner circle of DNV’s global leadership team as an Executive Assistant to our Chief People Officer (CPO).
This is more than a traditional assistant position — it plays a critical part in enabling the Chief People Officer in leading transformative efforts across our global people strategy. This position offers a broad variety of tasks and is a unique opportunity to get on-the-job insight into the business of DNV.
As the Executive Assistant, you will be a trusted partner and right hand, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and enabling the CPO to focus on high-impact leadership and transformation. You will manage a wide range of responsibilities, from calendar and travel coordination to preparing executive-level presentations and supporting key HR projects.
Through this work, you will be exposed to, and collaborate with, a wide range of people from all levels of the DNV organization.
As you will be working closely with the CPO who holds responsibility for a very important discipline and supporting her through demanding and fast-paced days, it is essential that you maintain a keen attention to detail while also keeping a broad, holistic view. You should be equally enthusiastic about embracing new challenges as you are committed to executing administrative and routine tasks with precision and efficiency. Your ideas and suggestions for improving collaboration and workflows across the support roles for all Group Officers will be highly valued.
In your role as assistant to a member of the Executive Committee, we trust that you are strongly motivated to help make her workdays as smooth and productive as possible while also ensuring she has sufficient time for preparation, breaks, and reflection. To succeed in this, you will need to proactively manage her calendar, anticipate needs, and stay several steps ahead to identify opportunities where your planning and foresight can make a meaningful difference.
Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide administrative support to the CPO, including calendar management, meeting and travel scheduling, expense reporting, as well as support to the Group People team.
- Plan and schedule meetings, including but not limited to proposing agenda topics, preparing materials, taking minutes, and following up on actions.
- Support with the long-term planning of meetings such as People Leader team gatherings, Senior People Management meetings, Global People Summits,
- Country Chair meetings and other events.
- Help organize social events and gatherings.
- Collect and review input for internal reports to e.g. the Executive Committee (EC) and Group CEO’s Report to the Board of Directors.
- Assist with uploads and documentation for DNV’s Board of Directors’ Compensation Committee.
- Give input to, prepare and review presentations and written material for internal and external use.
- Take part in or lead projects and governance tasks as agreed with the CPO.
- Support budget preparations and monitoring, including invoice handling.
- Manage documents and content in tools like SharePoint and Teams and handle a variety of ad-hoc tasks.
- Plan and prepare business travel for the CPO.

Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; advanced degree or executive support certification is a plus
- Proven experience supporting senior executives, ideally within global or matrixed organizations
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills in English; Norwegian proficiency is a plus
- Strong project management capabilities and digital fluency (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
- Highly efficient, structured, and analytical with the ability to see things from various perspectives, as well as forward-thinking and solution oriented.

The position reports to the CPO.
