More than product development and sales
In the role of Road Logistics Sales Representative, you will be responsible for establishing new customer relationships and developing your own customer portfolio. You will have the opportunity to create a strategy and carry out sales activities for both existing and new customers, with support from your manager and colleagues. The main focus will be on land transport, where coordination and collaboration with our operational team is key. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the customer experience with us and have the opportunity to make it even better; you will be a sparring partner for both customers and colleagues to find the best solutions. Your daily tasks will vary between customer visits, preparing offers, participating in trade fairs/sales events, and collaborating with your colleagues at Kuehne+Nagel in Norway and around the world
How you create impact
- Establish new customer relationships and business opportunities
- Maintain and develop your own customer portfolio
- Present our logistics solutions for land-based transport and act as an advisor and sparring partner for customers
- Decide pricing and prepare offers in collaboration with our managers
- Handle bids/tenders
- Gather relevant market information to support strategy and execution of tasks
What we would like you to bring
- 2–5 years of professional experience in freight forwarding/transport/logistics
- 2–5 years of experience in customer service and sales
- Relevant education in sales or logistics is an advantage
- Goal-oriented, proactive, and motivated to deliver results
- Ability to negotiate, build relationships, and solve challenges
- Proficient in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
- Driver’s license (Category B)
