As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a key role not only by building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, but also by empowering hundreds of engineers through coaching, mentoring, and promoting best practices across the organization.
We’re a core team within a global cloud architecture group, focused on helping product teams meet the evolving demands of cloud development. If you’re an engineer with experience in infrastructure, automation, and production systems, you might feel right at home here. You’ve worked on scalable cloud applications, handled frequent deployments and rollbacks, and built solid monitoring and alerting setups.
Task and Responsibilities:
Act as a subject matter expert by supporting and enabling teams across the organization, promoting best practices, offering guidance, and helping improve their delivery workflows
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable software delivery
Manage infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar for repeatable, scalable deployments
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with developers and IT to resolve deployment challenges across all environments
Ensure security and compliance in infrastructure setups, including secrets management and access control
What you bring:
Solid hands-on experience of CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Docker, and tools like GitHub, GitLab, or CircleCI, with a passion for automating away toil and advocating CI/CD at every step of the SDLC
Comfortable presenting to developers 1-on-1 and leading workshops for entire teams
Experienced in setting up monitoring and alerting to ensure stable releases, with automated rollbacks when needed.
Solid experience with Azure and/or other cloud platforms, familiar with GitOps practices, monitoring tools like the LGTM stack and Grafana, and skilled in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
Comfortable using Terraform to create anything from a database to a love letter, with programming experience in languages like Python, Go, C/C++, C#, Rust, JS/TS, F#, Clojure, or Perl, plus strong scripting skills and a solid grasp of networking and operational processes.
