The Opportunity
Lesley University’s Graduate Department of Expressive Therapies is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach: GEXTH 6032-04: Human Development; Wednesdays 12:55-3:25. Fully in-person, on-campus.
Course Description: The focus of this course is to explore developmental psychology, theory, and research. The course will integrate physical, cognitive, affective, neurological, and social development through a cross-cultural perspective. Implications for understanding human behavior across the lifespan are addressed and will include arts-based development and application to clinical mental health counseling practice.
Qualifications and Capabilities
A successful candidate will have:
- Master's degree in counseling or a related field, with experience teaching counseling and expressive therapies courses.
- Successful teaching experience at the graduate level
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
