Texas Instruments (TI) is searching for a detail-oriented person with excellent follow-through skills who is able to maintain confidentiality, have fun and be highly effective in a team environment. As the Site Administrative Assistant, your job will be to keep our site of just under 100 engineers running smoothly and contribute to our great work and social environment.
While not all inclusive, responsibilities of this role include:
- Purchase office supplies, phones and equipment for the site
- Handle order requests in SAP
- Handle mail and goods received
- Order service when needed for our site facilities
- Plan on-site and off-site department meetings, social events, trainings and customer visits together with team members
- Book worldwide travel for site manager and filing travel expenses
- Arrange hotels and ground transportation for international visitors
- Provide setup and introduction for new employees
- Setting up and maintaining employee mailing lists and digital message boards
- Maintain office space organization and configuration
- Ensure the office is in a good state and arrange seasonal decorations
- Sit in the reception area to receive visitors to the site and issue badges
- Helping facility management and finance teams with incidental tasks
Requirements:
- Minimum High School diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an international organization
- Fluent in English and Norwegian language
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools like Outlook and Power Point
Preferred qualifications:
- Ability to establish strong relationships with other sites and support functions in TI globally
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly ramp on IT systems and internal processes
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
- Social and outgoing, like talking to people
- Must be able to communicate well with all levels of management
