At Zaptec, we’re looking for a Digital Marketing Lead (1-year assignment) to help us elevate our global marketing efforts over the next year. In this role, you’ll take the lead in optimising our digital customer journey across all marketing channels – spotting opportunities, making improvements, and turning insights into action.
You won’t be doing it alone. You’ll be part of our global Marketing & Communications team of ten, where each of us brings our own expertise, but where collaboration is at the core. Together, we work on everything from brand strategy and channel optimisation to content creation, website development, and visibility campaigns. Our team is spread across Sandnes, Oslo and Stockholm, while working closely with colleagues in eight different European countries. English is our everyday language, and you’ll quickly feel at home.
Our goal is simple: to make Zaptec top of mind when people think about EV charging. And this is where we need you.
What you’ll be doing:
Take ownership of our global digital campaign performance and channels, like Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn. But who knows, you may recommend something new.
Monitor and analyse campaign performance, and turn insights into clear recommendations and improvements.
The team's sole expert in digital performance—trusted for clear guidance and strategic advice, not just within the team, but also towards Marketing Managers located across Europe.
Develop our digital customer journey: take over the mapping we’ve started, optimise it, and execute on each step.
Gather insights from colleagues across the company – you’ll need to take initiative, ask questions, and suggest solutions.
Knows the importance of tracking, and ensure it goes smoothly with the agency we’re working with.
You’ve probably worked as a paid digital marketing specialist before, maybe in an agency or a similar role, and you feel confident turning data into clear decisions. The digital universe is familiar territory for you - from PPC and social media to SEO and tracking - and you know how to connect the dots across channels. If you’ve played around with HubSpot or another CRM system, that’s a big plus. Bonus points if you’ve also worked with CMS platforms. Most importantly, this isn’t a role where everything is handed to you - we’re looking for someone who knows how the job should be done, enjoys driving progress, and isn’t afraid to take ownership.
Practicalities:
This is a one-year position. If you currently work freelance and would like to continue doing so, that’s an option – just let us know in your application.
Start date: As soon as possible, no later than November.
Location: You would work from one of our offices in either Sandnes, Oslo, Stockholm, Amsterdam or Munich.
