Temporary Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover)

At GlobalConnect, we’re looking for a temporary Marketing Manager to step in for maternity leave and support our marketing operations. This is a hands-on role with a focus on digital execution, website maintenance, and campaign coordination. You’ll join a driven and experienced team where no two days look exactly the same – and your structured mindset and tech-savviness will make a real impact.
You’ll be the one making sure our marketing plans don’t stay on paper. You’ll maintain our WordPress-based websites, roll out Google Ads campaigns, and support campaign managers in getting messages out to the right audience, at the right time. With a mix of recurring tasks and ad hoc challenges, you'll work both independently and closely with internal teams – often under tight timelines, always with a clear goal in mind.
What you’ll be doing:
- Maintain and update our WordPress websites, solving small issues and implementing changes as needed.
- Set up and manage Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Video, Retargeting) based on a ready-made strategy.
- Collaborate with campaign managers to execute multi-channel marketing activities.
- Handle campaign workflows, UTMs, QA, and coordination across platforms and teams.
- Use tools like Jira, Canva, and LinkedIn Ads to contribute to efficient campaign execution.

What you’ll bring to the table:
To keep our marketing engine running smoothly during this temporary period, we think you’ll need:
- Hands-on experience with WordPress (including site updates and basic troubleshooting).
- Confidence in setting up and managing Google Ads campaigns.
- Familiarity with digital ad workflows, tracking links, UTMs, and tools like Canva and Jira.
- The ability to work independently, with structure and attention to detail.
Location: Hybrid from our Oslo office at Fornebu (you’ll need to be able to commute here regularly)
Language: English required; Norwegian is a plus
