Do you like figuring out how things fit together, spotting the small details, and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes?
At Norwegian Travel Company, we deliver up to 200 activity and accommodation products year-round through our daughter companies across Norway – from Arctic adventures in Kirkenes to scenic train journeys in Romsdalen. To keep it all running seamlessly, our booking system needs to be accurate and up to date. That’s where you come in.
About the role
As a Digital Product & Booking System Operator, you’ll work in a cross-functional environment under the guidance of the Digital Product & Booking System Manager.
Together as a team, we make sure our products are set up correctly in the booking system so they can be sold and delivered seamlessly.
You’ll work closely with operations and sales to gather input, then build and test solutions in the system. We mainly use Visit Group solutions such as iTicket and CityBreak. Your work will include both routine updates and more complex scenarios, such as:
- Uploading new rates, content, and sales periods.
- Setting up capacities, rules, and operational logistics (buses, guides, schedules).
- Ensuring products are distributed correctly across different sales channels.
- Troubleshooting and supporting product and system related issues, both internally and externally.
You’ll play a key role in making sure our digital products work just as well for the customer booking them as for the team delivering them.
We think you’ll enjoy and succeed in this role if you are:
- Highly organised with eye for detail.
- Interested in the life of digital products, their backend setup and the functionalities of travel technology.
- Comfortable switching between routine tasks and analytical problem-solving.
- Independent in your work, but not afraid to ask for feedback and support.
- Clear and proactive in your communication to others.
- Experience with VisitGroup applications (iTicket, CityBreak) is a plus, but not a requirement.
What we value most is an understanding of how complex the travel business can be, and the cross-functional teamwork it takes to deliver great tours and experiences. A background in travel, hospitality, product management, guiding, or travel tech is an advantage – but just as important is your curiosity, eagerness to learn, and motivation to grow in the role.
We offer

- A collaborative and supportive work environment

- Modern and attractive office spaces in the heart of Tromsø city centre
- The chance to grow your skills in tourism and travel technology
