An exciting opportunity has arisen as Enterprise Technology Manager within the Digital/IT department in Kongsberg Discovery. In this role you will be the lead to realize digital adoption of crucial Enterprise Business System Solutions to our business processes. Building on your knowledge and leadership experience you will have the opportunity to drive improvement and growth of our Enterprise business systems portfolio. This means you'll have the opportunity to engage with key stakeholders and the wider operational business to understand needs, expectations, and opportunities for improvement.
Our Enterprise business system portfolio includes multiple solutions to support our global presence including both cloud based and on-premise based systems. You will play a key role in improving the quality of business enterprise data and streamline the usage of data and systems in the value chain. You will work closely with the business teams in Kongsberg Discovery, follow up super users and collaborate tight with Digital/IT roles within KONGSBERG Business Areas.
We expect you to show proactiveness and excellent collaboration skills and have a solution-oriented approach to serve business areas with high technological complexity.
Key Accountabilities
- System owner for the Enterprise Business systems portfolio
- Take lead to develop and maintain roadmap coordinated with strategic plans for the business
- Mapping capabilities, analysis and design to support the organization needs to execute its strategy
- Capture and communicate the Business process requirements to ensure continued development of the platform
- Support in future IT architecture and solutions for Kongsberg Discovery
- Engage with colleagues responsible for other operational systems to ensure alignment of the “end-to-end” process.
- Support and provide expertise to the business to ensure a functional operational setup
- Contribute and collaborate with other Kongsberg business areas and corporate to share knowledge
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering Computer Science, Technology, or a similar discipline
- Minimum 5-10 years of practical experience within IT/and or business operations, in-depth interest, and knowledge of Enterprise Business System Solutions as a subject
- Knowledge of design thinking and agile development processes, methods, and tools, including Azure DevOps
- Recent experience with networking and successfully engaging with stakeholders and teams across a large organization is an advantage
- Experience of developing and implementing business cases and strategic plans
