The ‘Odds Unit’ in Sportradar offers popular trading services, used by over 200 organizations worldwide. Our team of experts manage betting probabilities using our leading edge mathematical models. THE CHALLENGE:
- Learn and use ATDD/BDD techniques in your daily work.
- Learn and use AWS, Kubernetes, and GitLab CI.
- Help build high performance services/products on top of our real-time sports data collected 24/7 globally for more than 30 different sports.

YOUR PROFILE:
You are a developer who likes solving challenging problems and being focused at work. Learning is a natural part of your workday. You enjoy collaborating with a diverse group of people, you are passionate about what you do, have a high interest in keeping up with current best practices in your areas of expertise and you look at programming languages as tools and not constraints. You are curious about both technology and people.
Required:
- A test-first mindset where your values are aligned with engineering quality practices.
- Experience with Java and clean code/architecture principles.
- A personal interest in keeping up with the general trends of software product development.
- A can-do attitude, take pride in own work and an ability to keep up momentum.

- Worked in Agile development teams
- Cloud based services from AWS
- Distributed systems
- Message queuing (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
- Docker, Kubernetes
- Protobuf & GRPC

OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS :
- Initial Screening: A quick chat with our Talent Acquisition Partner to understand your background and expectations.
- Technical Assessment: A short (home) task to showcase your technical skills.
- Two Technical Interviews: Meet with the Technical team and later with the Hiring Manager to dive into your solution, as also discuss team fit.
- Onsite Interview (If not organized on prior interview stages): Meet with the local team and take a tour of our office for a final meet-and-greet.
