We are currently seeking:
Manager Business Control
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the budgeting process for the BW LPG fleet, including both in-house and third-party managed vessels.
- Coordinate reporting activities, including assisting in the compilation of a monthly report for the Chief Technical Officer.
- Work with internal systems and manage the Technical Chart of Accounts and SFI codes to ensure consistent and correct usage across the fleet.
- Participate in dry docking projects, supporting budgeting and cost follow-up activities.
- Act as a key business coordinator for Oracle BI at BW LPG.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of common ERP systems within the company, such as the vessel BI reporting portal and Hyperion Planning.
- Provide consistent day-to-day support to the fleet.
- Contribute to BW LPG’s performance targets and KPIs.
- Collaborate closely with the Finance team in Singapore to harmonize routines, support the development of common systems, and provide relevant input from the fleet.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor/Master degree in Economics/ Finance or related subject.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in controlling and financial reporting, preferably from shipping/maritime industry.
- Experience with monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
- Knowledge/ experience of Oracle BI, experience of Hyperion would be an advantage.
- Fluency in English.
- Applicants must qualify for permanent residence permit for work purposes in Norway.

- Deliver results in a timely manner with high quality.
- Ability to view the overall picture as well as understanding the detail.
- Good communications skills both written and oral.
- Good interpersonal skills with good cultural awareness.
- Ability to work well in a team as well as independently.

Location:
- The position will be based in our office in Oslo, Norway. Some traveling should be expected for this position.
