Location: Stord. Some travel and offshore can be expected.

Assignment Description

• Ensure quality within Mechanical disciplines on the Hugin A Topside project at Stord Yard.
• Support Construction, MC, and Commissioning to you secure proper completion with correct quality.
• Perform quality assurance and control within mechanical installations according to agreed plans and targets.
• Ensure mechanical deliveries comply with standards, procedures, and client requirements
• Cooperate closely with Construction, MC, and Commissioning.
• Participate in inspections, reviews, and deviation handling.
• Contribute to alliance collaboration and continuous improvement of processes and methods

Focus on:

• Rotating equipment installation and alignment
• Tanks cleanliness and preservation
• Piping alignment and dustblind management
• Nitrogen purging/heating and winterization
• Mechanical completion coordination (MC/ATS)
• Preservation and system readiness

Qualifications

• Technical College degree or trade certificate within Mechanical disciplines
• Experience from QA/QM in oil & gas topside projects
• Knowledge of rotating equipment, piping alignment, and preservation methods.
• Strong collaboration skills and experience in alliance/tie-in projects
• Improvement- and quality-focused mindset
