VP Head of Nordics EVP Office

Telenor Nordics is seeking a structured VP Head of Nordic EVP Office that will assist the EVP in setting the agenda, help prioritize and prepare not only the EVP Nordics, but the entire Nordic Management Team (NMT). You will ensure efficient management of the NMT agenda and act as a key liaison between the EVP Nordics and internal and external stakeholders.
In this role, you will work closely with the EVP, members of the NMT and relevant Business Units (BUs) and Group functions and ensure productive collaboration with the EVPs executive assistant and Nordic Head of Communications. You are expected to take an active part in NMT to ensure consistency and strategic focus in the plans for the EVPs work and time. This includes coordinating and managing the preparations for the EVP in key meetings, the NMT agenda, and driving specific initiatives on behalf of the EVP /NMT.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Initiate, facilitating and distributing agenda for NMT meetings and ensure that the right action points are followed up by relevant units.
- Initiate, prepare and distribute the agenda for Business Area Management (BAM) meetings, ensuring relevant topics are addressed and acted upon.
- Supporting the EVP and participating in/driving key initiatives on behalf of the EVP.
- Oversee the coordination of all requests to the EVP, including programs, projects, and preparations for pre-meeting briefings. When doing so, you must conduct research and safeguard that actions are completed according to the agenda.
- In cooperation with relevant colleagues, drive initiatives, organize meetings and events on behalf of the EVP (e.g. summits, leadership seminars, strategy meetings etc.) and ensure EVP by-in and preparation.
- Coordinate and manage the execution of key EVP-driven initiatives across the company by tracking deadlines and deliverables related to the initiatives the EVP is leading.
- Ensure alignment and follow up on strategic priorities, working closely with the Nordic CEOs, the Nordic SVPs and the BU leadership teams.

The scope of this role is evolving, and you will be expected to shape the role and impact on how the Nordic EVP Office will work. It will require a high degree of strategic focus, initiative, independence, and a systematic approach in your work. You must
- Balance a high level of structure with a dynamic environment and be comfortable in setting the agenda and working independently on key strategic initiatives without any guidance
- Have extensive experience and competencies in project management and administrative work, preferably from working with C-levels on strategic initiatives and project management.
- Have excellent stakeholder management skills, be well-acquainted with the communication character at the top level, and master to demonstrate the key objectives in your communication both in Norwegian and English.
- Be strategic and demonstrate great strategic understanding, with the ability to deliver, prioritize and focus accordingly.
- Handling the workload as there from time to time will be a lot of pressure, both on you and the team you collaborate with. How you deal with stressful situations and reassure your colleagues and stakeholders will affect how well you succeed.
- Have a high level of discretion and ability to handle confidential matters.
- A master’s degree in business, strategy or related field is preferred.
- A track record of getting things done both in collaboration with others and independently driving strategic initiatives
- Thorough knowledge about budget management, financial reporting and analysis, using the MS Office applications.
