Job Description
Join our expanding Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team, part of the TOMRA CFO area. As a Compliance Officer in our Recycling Division you will work closely with the business and the team in supporting a growing business division at TOMRA, playing a key role in shaping its direction and ambitions in the compliance area through responsible business practices. The position is located at TOMRA HQs in Asker and reports to the Head of GRC with additional reporting to the Recycling Finance Director.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead and enhance our global compliance program for the Recycling Division.
- Develop, initiate, review, and maintain policies and procedures tailored to the division.
- Advise management on compliance with laws and regulations.
- Provide compliance assessments and business support for new market entries, joint ventures, and mergers & acquisitions.
- Guide due diligence policies and provide day-to-day operational support.
- Respond to and monitor alleged violations, including whistleblowing cases.
- Identify compliance risks and implement corrective action plans.
- Engage with the business through international travel.
- Handle ad-hoc reviews and projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Audit, Finance, Business, Law, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Compliance, Legal work, Audit, Controlling, or Risk Management.
- Experience in international business and industrial firms preferred.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
- Strong relationship-building skills and ability to work across borders and time zones.
