We are seeking an experienced Payroll & Benefits Manager to lead our global payroll operations and benefits programs. This role will oversee payroll systems and reporting across multiple countries, serve as the key contact for Thailand payroll operations, and ensure compliance with local regulations. The position also manages global benefits, insurance, and pension programs while providing critical support to Finance, HR, and leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the payroll team, including personnel responsibilities.
Manage and optimize payroll-related systems, including ADP, Workday, and other integrated tools.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting across countries (monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc).
Serve as the main point of contact for payroll operations in Thailand.
Provide support to Finance, Accounting, HR, and leadership teams.
Maintain and update employee handbooks in alignment with local regulations.
Prepare quarterly HR reports covering overtime, vacation, leave of absence, and sick leave.
Monitor and report on sick leave statistics (currently for Norway, expanding to other countries).
Handle quarterly reporting to Statistics Norway (SSB).
Oversee global benefits programs, including:
Global Benefit Manager Mercer coordination
Insurance and pension plans across all countries
Review and manage employee perks and benefits globally
Travel insurance administration
Key Qualifications:
Proven experience in payroll management across multiple countries, with strong knowledge of local labor laws and compliance requirements
Hands-on expertise with payroll and HRIS systems such as ADP, Workday, and other integrated tools.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop payroll teams while managing cross-border operations.
Strong understanding of global benefits programs, including insurance, pensions, and employee perks.
Excellent reporting and analytical skills, with experience preparing detailed HR and compliance reports.
Ability to partner effectively with Finance, HR, and leadership teams to provide accurate payroll and benefits insights.
High attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy in managing sensitive employee data.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse geographies and cultures.
