Job Summary:
As an IT & Data Operations Intern at Db, you will gain hands-on experience across IT support, system administration, and data operations while contributing to the rollout of our new Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP system. In this role, you will work with data preparation and integrations, assist in configuring workflows and processes, and support testing and documentation to ensure smooth system operations. Alongside ERP-related tasks, you will also be involved in daily IT support, device management, and security improvements. This internship provides a unique opportunity to work on both operational IT tasks and enterprise-level projects, collaborating with multiple departments and external vendors to strengthen Db’s IT landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- ERP Setup & Process Configuration: Contribute to the implementation of Business Central across logistics, sales, purchasing, and finance, including workflows and processes.
- Data Operations & Integrations: Prepare, clean, and import data, and assist with integrations to ensure smooth data flow between systems.
- IT Support & Device Management: Help set up, maintain, and troubleshoot laptops, mobile devices, and accessories while providing first-line support for hardware, software, and access issues.
- System Administration & Security: Assist with user account management, permissions, system configurations, and support IT security improvements.
Key Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s program in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related field (preferably with 1 year of studies remaining).
- Structured and detail-oriented, with the ability to handle manual and data-heavy tasks accurately.
- Interest in IT systems and digital processes; prior ERP knowledge is an advantage but not required.
- Basic knowledge of IT systems, including Windows and MacOS environments, device setup, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with system administration concepts such as user accounts, roles, and permissions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal departments and external vendors.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable working on both routine support tasks and project-based assignments.
