As an EssilorLuxottica Brand Account Manager covering Ray-Ban optical channel distribution, you are responsible for the delivery of targeted sales for your brands and territory. Your main categories of responsibility will be Ray-Ban Meta, Ray-Ban sunglasses and Ray-Ban optical frames, covering the optical channel distribution in an assigned territory in Norway. This is a multibrand role with predominant focus on Ray-Ban but also additional brands in the EssilorLuxottica brand portfolio. The role is field based, spending a considerable amount of time visiting customers in the field. The job involves attending conferences, trade fairs and exhibitions, including frequent overnight stays away from home with approximately 4 days per week travelling.
Areas of responsibilities and related activities:
- Guarantee sales in his/her area or assigned clients /products - by delivering individual targeted sales volumes, values, return rates, and brand distribution and penetration objectives by effectively identifying and meeting customer needs.
- Develop business by building relations with customers and visiting them frequently.
- Effective territory coverage - you will ensure frequency of visits and a consistent level of service for all customers in accordance with company guidelines.
- Driving customer recommendation - ensuring effective brand, product, and visual merchandising training for your customers’ sales and/or dispensing staff to ensure that our customers not only buy our products, but actively recommend them.
- Deliver presentations of new collections to clients at least two times per year for registration of orders in accordance with adopted annual plan of the Company.
- Follow up new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
- Support local and international events and trade marketing and visual merchandising initiatives.
- Keep product range at clients’ outlets, quality and quantity of stock and store supplies under control, ensure that orders input is done in a timely manner and control orders execution.
- Identify and resolve client concerns related to EssilorLuxottica products and services.
- Guarantee respect and correct deployment of commercial policy.
- Bring energy to colleagues and contribute to creating a world class team.
The successful candidate will require a number of key competencies and abilities to succeed in the role:
- Have strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Have strong Apple iPad and PC skills including competent use of Microsoft Office.
- Have an understanding and minimum 2-3 years of experience from the optical/fashion and/or FMCG industry.
- Have a full, clean driving license and passport(essential).
- Have demonstrable customer service and selling experience, ideally in a field sales environment.
- Preferably, have a bachelor's degree.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
