VP IT & Operations

Job Summary:

As the VP IT & Operations of Db Equipment AS you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations for IT of the business as well as leading Supply Chain, S&OP and Fulfilment for channels. You will lead initiatives for implementing strategies to enhance productivity, performance and streamlining processes. You will collaborate closely with the executive team to achieve company goals and drive growth and will report directly to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Strategy: Develop and execute the company's operational strategy in alignment with its overall objectives and growth plans.
• Process Optimization: Identify and implement operational improvements, streamline processes, and eliminate bottlenecks to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. ERP implementation being a key project.
• Supply Chain Management: Oversee supply chain and logistics functions to ensure cost effective and on time and in full delivery of products/services across all channels and markets. Optimize return and warranty handling. Oversee the S&OP process for the business.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks, including those related to compliance, safety, and security, also within a global macroeconomic context.
• Resource Allocation: Manage resources effectively, including personnel, budgets, and technology, to support operational excellence.
• IT: Manage relationships with IT vendors Set IT strategy and oversee operations.
• Performance Metrics Operations: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and make data-driven decisions.
• Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing operations team, providing mentorship and development opportunities to team members.
• Executive Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates to the CEO and executive team on operational performance, forecasts, and strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Experience leading a combination of operational and technical teams is preferred.
• Proven experience in operations leadership roles
• Strong understanding of IT, operational strategies, process optimization, and supply chain management.
• Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
• Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing successful operational strategies.
• Data-driven decision-maker with excellent analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
