Service Coordinator

We are now looking for a dynamic Service Coordinator or Senior Service Coordinator to join our skilled Field Service Coordination team. The role is offered as a permanent contract and will be based in Rubbestadneset, Norway.
What will you be doing?
As a Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for the execution of service jobs onboard customers’ installations, both within Norway and abroad, coordinating and planning Field Service work orders in accordance with contract and customer requirements. You will maintain regular communication with Service Engineers and internal stakeholders to provide support and monitor progress, fostering a culture of collaboration and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to:
- Planning and coordinating Field Service jobs and projects, ensuring quality of job preparations and subsequently controlling the field service works execution.
- Acting as point of contact for customers throughout work orders, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
- Following up and reporting work order statuses to customers and other stakeholders.
- Continuously updating the tools used for Field Service management and reporting.
- Ensuring that service jobs are completed within agreed time frame and budget.
- Closely cooperating with other departments and stakeholders to meet defined targets.
- Ensuring that all work is executed in accordance with local requirements, site procedures, and Wärtsilä Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines.
- Providing input to development of HSE processes, tools, competencies, and ways of working to secure stakeholder satisfaction and secure defined targets.
The following will enable you to succeed in this role:
- MSc or BSc in Engineering or relevant work experience to compensate for lack of formal education.
- Experience with Project Management, coordination, or similar roles.
- Technical know-how and general knowledge of Wärtsilä products.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proactive and structured approach to work, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
- Customer-oriented and collaborative mindset.
- Strong Norwegian and English language skills, both spoken and written.
